If you are planning to buy a wall mounted kitchen rack then you need to consider a few things which will help you get your hands on a proper spice rack.

A few things to consider while buying a spice rack are listed here in no particular order.

These are

Appearance – The appearance of a rack is very important as you need to know which color will go well with over all appearance of the kitchen. You definitely do not want it sticking out like a sore thumb. You should check out options like the chrome finish or the wooden finish.

Size – They war available in various sizes by which I mean 3 rows of 5 spice bottles each or 4 rows of 4 bottles each or as we say it a 3 tier rack or a 4 tier rack. If you want really something very small then a 2 tier rack will do but in general a rack that is 3 tiered will look good.

There are a few things which generally do not look as good as the revolving spice racks. The revolving spice racks look much more elegant than the wall mounted ones but the matter of the fact is that they take up space which is always at a premium.

The price of the lowest end of the spectrum for a wall mounted spice rack is around $ 15-$ 20. Yes on the higher end it can go up to say $50 but that is only if you want a better finish and nicely polished with all the other embellishments to go with it.

Of course what you need as far a these spice racks go is the spice bottles to store the spices as mostly they are designed for round spice bottles as opposed to the rectangular or some other shaped containers. Yes that definitely adds up the cost but think of it that these wall mounted spice rack will bring that much needed organization into your kitchen.

Welcome to my blog on the wall mounted spice rack . Over here I am going to give you tips about everything you need to get started on organizing your kitchen and spice (hic!) up your life.

That said in our daily lives especially females a large part of the day is spent in the kitchen. And almost all of our food is prepared with a good sprinkling of spices. These spices like oregano, parsley, paprika, turmeric and cumin need to be place where it is easy to get them, use them and put them back in the place.

In the usual kitchen place what happens is that we are in a rush so the spices and other small things which are kept in cupboards etc generally get left over on the counter adding to already cluttered counter.

The wall mounted spice rack is definitely the best thing that can happen. With these spice racks you should actually put them near where you generally prepare your food. I would suggest that you never put them near the stove or above the gas stoveWall Mounted Spice Rack as the gas and the steam from the cooking of vegetables and other stuff will damage the rack.

Since it is wall mounted you will be assured that it will not take much space and also it will be helpful since you can grab the spice you want and then put it back easily. The only challenge is to find a place in the wall where it can be mounted easily so that accessibility is easier. You do not for sure want this somewhere you cannot get to it or it is in a corner that is not accessible without banging your head against a few other things.

Getting organized in the kitchen means having to spend less time in the kitchen as well as less time cleaning up the mess and what better way than to get a wall mounted spice rack. Again apart from spice racks there are several things that are there which need space in the kitchen like bread makers, coffee makers etc. My advice is that when you are buying those make sure you buy one which does not take a huge amount of space on kitchen countertop. Bettert still go for wall mounted stuff.
